How did you find addiction?

Discuss. I have played several different versions of LOTGD and found this one seaching google about 8 months ago. I got banned from the one I played on most (50 DKs,LOL) for referring myself.

my two daughters introduced me to LOTGD...but i guess i got more addicted than i thought possible so not played any others...actually didnt no there were any more out there...lol
think i will stick with this one though..too many addictions cant be good for the soul...(or the housework)..lol

I never heard of any sites like this before i came here. My buddy who used to play here referred me. Not sure if anyone remembers Zombie. This was like 2 years ago and he stopped playing when he went to Iraq. Am trying to get him to come back.

But after i started playing had some fun, but then got annoyed by the dramaqueens that seemed to be in charge of everything. Left for a while tried to help a friend with coding for their own site, but then ended up back here

I started playing after watching my son for a couple years. I do remember Zombie, and the drama queens. I think its a requirement for the most part to rise in the ranks, heh,

Actually I was snooping on the history of a library computer & saw the site. I played Legend of the Red Dragon many years ago on a Bulletin board (If you are less than 25 years old you wouldn't understand ) So I checked it out & can't leave...

Somebody(not going to say who) was playing 2 lotgd sites...and me being teh geek I am made him give me a link....and he gave me this one, imagine if he gave me teh other one, none of you would have to put up with me. But...that story isn't fun...so...*comes up with a good one*

I was in a near death experience one day...i was using a butter knife to get something out of teh toaster, when out of nowhere....BOOM!!!!!...my cat jumped on me and almost gave me a heart attack. While i was passed out from being viciously attacked...i had a dream...in that dream, things happened that I won't go into for PH34R of being banned from T3H forum...after that...i went online and did a google search for people that are addicted to red vs. blue, because teh R34P3R betrayed everybody and I didn't want to watch it anymore. And, long story short, if you type in 'addiction' in google, you can't find this site, so one of my friends sent me teh link.

Hehe, I am not into banning people for dirty words.

Many many moons ago (about 12 to be precise) I was wandering teh dark and desolate landscape of teh english moors, lost, hungry, tired and alone I stumbles o'er hill and dale until I spied a tiny purple tent ahead in teh distance. I struggled on hand and knee until I reached teh door to teh tent. peering inside I saw and old gypsy woman gazing into a crystal ball.
"Come my child" she uttered without even glancing at me. "I have been waiting".
I hauled myself up onto teh chair opposite her, it took every last ounce of energy I had but I was enthralled by this ugly old witch of a woman and her dazzling crystal ball.
She gazed into teh ball for several minutes, hypnotised by the swirling fog within, then suddenly she gripped my wrist tightly!
Gasping aloud I grew afraid and tried to break free but she help firm, her bony fingers digging into my flesh in a death like grip.
"you must listen to me child" she wheezed. "Your destiny lies before me. It is not easy, it will not be quick, but there is a Handsome Hero awaiting you my child. He is the light that will break through your darkness. There is a strength that will bind you to him, you are one. You /must/ find him!"
Suddenly her grip slackened and she slumped forward in her chair. Bewildered I stood, thoughts of this "destiny" swirling through my head. As I turned to leave the old gypsy woman reached out and slipped a piece of parchment into my pocket and then I ran.

I ran like teh wind couldn't catch me, circling the world 2... 3.... 4 times! Searching every hilltop, every cavern, every mountain peek and sea bed for my true love. I fought ogres, slew (slew?) monsters, swam oceans and screamed at teh waning moon from the top of a fetered castle before collapsing from exhaustion.

It wasn't till this moment that I remembered the womans arthritic, warped fingers slipping into my pocket as I left. Trembling slightly I reached into said pocket and withdrew the parchment she had hidden there. As I unrolled it I stared in puzzlement at the strange script it held. It said "www.lotgdaddiction.com"

Teh rest as they say.... is history!
